A levels…
The “be all and end all”. The “pinnacle of life”. However, this is all a lie. They do not rule your life, they do not change your future and most of all (although they are important) you do not need to invest all your time into them.
I may or may not have invested all my time into them as much as I said not to. My mental health plummeted and, consequently, my grades started falling too. My results day at this point is in two days and I may be quite worried.
But after all, it is NOT the end of the world when it comes to getting into University as my insurance is an unconditional offer.
However, I may have a slight problem with my University choices. My firm choice is the University of Buckingham. This is a private University where the majority of the funds are paid by the student. Student finance will sub you a loan of £6,215 but the whole of the tuition fee throughout one year of University is £12,600 (for this specific University). My insurance choice is Northampton which is now the University that I wish to go to. The whole tuition fee is paid for by the government, which will be a lot less of a worry for me. Northampton is also a bigger University with a larger student union. This means that I will get a better taste for the University life (the party life).
So basically, I will have to go through clearing in order to get into Northampton. That is if I get all C’s in the first place and get into Buckingham.
It is going to be super stressful but I should deal with it.
Moral of the story, think carefully about your University choices and don’t impulsively select them based on what everyone else says even if you think the same too. Also, do not stress about your A levels. It is not the end of the world.
