Hey all, it’s been a while, but considering we are now on lock down, I thought I would start my blog up again.
I also realised that my last update was about the lead up to A level Results day and I never told you what I got. I have got to say that at the time I was very disappointed with the grades that I did get. They were, generally, above national average, however, I believed that I definitely deserved higher in Biology.
Looking back on it now from someone who 3/4 of the way through a first year BSc Psychology Undergraduate first year, I can now say that those grades were perfect. Your A level grades DO NOT matter, if you get into a good University with them then that is what is important, especially if you are passionate about your University course like I am.
As well as this, I can say that I personally did not work as hard as I should have. This definitely showed in my Sociology grade where I could have got a lot higher but I was focusing so much on my other subjects that my Sociology grade decreased.
Overall, my grades came to:
- Psychology – B (which I was so so happy with as I have never really been a high achiever)
- Sociology – C
- Biology – D
I have a few blogs coming up, so go ahead and give me a follow to see content like; the lead up to University, Move in Day, The Unviersity of Northampton Review, how my course is going/my life at University and my future career plans.
